10th acquisition for REIC

US based Rental Equipment Investment Corp (REIC) has acquired the rental assets and business of Idaho Falls based sales and rental company Draco Equipment.

The Draco facility in Idaho Falls

Draco operates in the states of Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Colorado and Wyoming and is a dealer for JLG, Wacker Neuson. The acquisition is Rental Equipment’s 10th acquisition since it was established in October 2014. It will move the Draco operation into its Pro Rentals operation in Idaho Falls.

REIC will move the Draco rental business into its Pro Rentals operation

Rental Equipment’s chief executive Kevin Fitzgerald said: “Draco is an excellent well run company with a strong rental business which we purchased to combine with our existing Idaho Falls store. The Draco rental business will move to our Pro Rentals and Sales Idaho Falls store and our team there will continue to serve Draco’s customers. Acquiring the Draco business will build on Pro Rentals and Sales strong market presence in the eastern Idaho marketplace.”

Draco chief executive Darren Andrews added: “We are happy to have teamed with Rental Equipment Investment and most importantly want to thank all our customers and employees for their work over the past years.”
