Genie strengthens German network

Genie has appointed sales and service company Staplerwelt Süd as its distributor for Southern German, responsible for Saarland, Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, parts of Rhineland-Palatinate and Thuringia.

Based in Bietigheim-Bissingen in Baden-Württemberg, Staplerwelt Süd is now a sales and service company, having sold its rental fleet and a number of locations to Zeppelin back in 2016 – see: Zeppelin acquires Stapler-Rent

The company will be responsible for sales and after sales support in these regions with a particular focus on end users, contractors and smaller rental companies. In addition to new machines it will hold a stock of Genie replacement parts. The company also represents Merlo, Ausa and Eleva and is a service provider for Haulotte and Skyjack.
