Brad Boehler to join Morbark
Ex-Skyjack president Brad Boehler has been appointed president of US forestry and recycling equipment manufacturer Morbark. He will also be a vice president of its parent company Alamo, responsible for the forestry and tree care business unit (Morbark) from August 24th.
He replaces Dave Herr who has been chief executive since the business was acquired by Stellex Capital Management in 2016. The Alamo group, a $1 billion agricultural equipment manufacturer, acquired the business, which is located in Winn, Michigan, late last year.
Boehler left Skyjack last September after 16 years with the company, eight of them as president (see:
Brad Boehler leaves Linamar) and stepped down as president of IPAF in October. He sits on the boards of Custom Equipment/Hy-Brid Lifts, Serious Labs and Vita Inclinata Technologies. He and wife Melinda will relocate to central Michigan in the coming months.
