Tower crane rescue

A tower crane erector was rescued from the jib of a crane on Monday by the Singapore Civil Defence Force.

The man had injured his leg and had to be lowered to the ground using a Stokes rescue stretcher with ropes and pulleys. The rescue was completed quickly and efficiently and captured on video. The man was treated at the scene and sent to hospital.
