Deputy MD for Raimondi

Tower crane manufacturer Raimondi has appointed industry veteran Diego Borgna as deputy managing director and operations manager.

Borgna joins the company following two years working as a management consultant, but has spent most of his career working with the Manitowoc crane group and its acquisitions, having joined Potain in 1997 as operations director at the Niella Tanaro production facility in Italy. Manitowoc acquired Potain in 2001 and Borga remained on board. In 2011 he was promoted to managing director Italy and director of lean projects for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Two years later he was made senior vice president of global tower crane operations, leaving the company in mid 2018.

In his new role he will be responsible for leading Raimondi's operations as well as working with commercial director, Cristian Badin, to develop the company’s latest product ranges and working towards spreading the company's geographic coverage.
