Two Liebherrs for Davies

UK based Davies Crane Hire has taken delivery of a 120 tonne Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 All Terrain crane along with a further 60 tonne LTM 1060-3.1.

The four axle LTM 1120 is the second unit of this new model to arrive in the UK (see: City Lifting takes first LTM 1120) and features a seven section 66 metre main boom, topped by a 10.8 to 19 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, which offsets by up to 40 degrees. Features include Liebherr's VarioBallast and VarioBase systems.

Davies has taken delivery of the second LTM 1120-4.1 in the UK

The three axle LTM 1060 features a six section 48 metre main boom, offers a maximum radius of 40 metres while features include the VarioBase automatic outrigger set up system.

Director Neil Davies, said: “We are pleased to take delivery of another LTM 1060-3.1, the best machine on three axles and a great all round crane. I am especially excited about the new LTM 1120-4.1 and the many benefits of the VarioBase and VarioBallast systems, which will be invaluable for quick and easy set up on those narrow awkward sites. The 66 metre boom is another great advantage for reaching high spots when rigging a fly is impossible. This crane will slot into the fleet perfectly and I’m looking forward to seeing it out there working.”
