Another Smart Bronto

UK based Smart Platform Rental has added a 56 metre Bronto Skylift S56-XR to its big truck mounted platform fleet, its largest lift to date.

The S56-XR features a four section boom topped by a 14.5 metre two section articulated jib, offering up to 41 metres of outreach with 120kg or 37.5 metres with 360kg. Its maximum platform capacity is 600kg with the 2.4 to 3.7 metre extending platform supplied to Smart. The machine can also reach more than 10 metres below ground level while platform rotation is a full 240 degrees. Smart has also ordered the unit with the winch and lift up system.

Smart’s new Bronto S56-XR

Smart was established in 2000 and initially focused on small 3.5 tonne self-drive truck mounts, with a clear, open price list along the lines of a car rental company. It later added an operated option, van mounted platforms and more recently larger truck mounted lifts from 33 metres to the new 56 metre Bronto.
