Hiab acquires Dutch dealer

Hiab has acquired the sales, installation and service activities of Damen Hydrauliek - its largest dealer in the Netherlands - along with its three locations in Best, Elsloo and Venray.

Founded in 1979 by Wim Damen, who sadly past away last year, Damen specialises in the sale, construction, repair and maintenance of loader cranes, hooklifts, truck mounted forklifts and a range of hydraulic devices. As well as Hiab it also represents Parker, Sunfab, Bakker and Kinshofer. The integration will be supported by the company’s managing director, Fred Schroef, after which he is set to retire.
