Safeworks appoints HR director

SafeWorks, the parent of Power Climber and Spider suspended platforms has appointed Joe Salter as its Human Resources director.

Salter joins the company from Sprint Nextel Corporation where he was an area manager of human resources. Prior to that he held managerial positions at Applied Microsystems, Starbucks Coffee and Rockwell International.

In his new role, Salter will be responsible for the overall administration and evaluation of Human Resource functions and will join the senior leadership team. The company employs around 300 staff.

“Joe brings a background in continuous improvement that dovetails well with the company’s direction,” said Scott Farrell, president and chief executive officer. “He is a delightful individual and we look forward to his contribution to SafeWorks.”
