Evans moves to Wolff

Mark Evans regional sales manager for Terex cranes in the UK has been appointed as managing director of Wolffkran Arabia.

Evans completes his three month notice period with Terex after Bauma next week and is then planning to move to Dubai or Abu Dhabi to head up the new Wolffkran venture.

Evans has been with Demag and Terex for 12 years and is departing on amicable terms. The move is principally an opportunity to move up into a more senior role he told Vertikal.Net. Adding “After 12 years I am also ready for a new challenge.

Wolffkran announced the formation of Wolffkran Arabia in February this year, the new business is a joint venture with Kanoo machinery, part of the Kanoo group, which has been involved in the crane and access business since the mid 1960’s and is the Grove distributor in Saudi Arabia.
