Fatal scissor lift incident

A man died yesterday while working on overhead pipes from a scissor lift in southeast Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The accident occurred yesterday morning at a large printing plant owned by Quad Graphics. The man was helping remove some overhead steel tubes at a height of around 10 metres. According to a statement from the local fire and rescue department, the man became pinned between two of the pipes when at least one of them became free. He apparently died shortly after the incident occurred.

OSHA has taken over the investigation. We will update this report if and when we learn more.
