700 Dinglis for Mtandt

Indian sales and rental company Mtandt has ordered a further 700 Dingli booms and scissor lifts.

The multi-million dollar order includes scissor lifts from eight to 18 metres and booms from 16 to 30 metres with a range of power sources including diesel, hybrid and all electric. Deliveries have already started and are due to be completed by late next year. The company is also planning to purchase a further $2 million to $3 million next year, which should take the company’s rental fleet to around 2,200 units by the end of 2023.

The Excon exhibition with the first Dingli machines from the new order


The company had a number of the new machines on display at the recent Excon 2022 exhibition in Bangalore, including a 73ft BA24ER articulated boom lift and a new mast boom, the 11.2 metre AMWP 11.5-8100.

At the same time Dingli announced the appointment of a new regional manager, Sachin Raj Desai, who is setting up a Dingli regional office in Chennai, India, from where he will support Mtandt and dealers in surrounding markets.
He joins the company from Husqvarna where he has been business development manager since 2019, having started with the company as a regional manager in 2016. He began in 2012 as a sales executive with Dynamic Crane Engineers leaving for a sales and marketing role with Honda the following year.
