10 Atlas cranes for TIP

European transport and logistics equipment leasing group TIP has taken delivery of 10 new Atlas 170.2 V loader cranes.

The 170.2 V sold through Atlas Nordhessen in Germany, is part of Atlas’ Medium loader crane range with a long riser, topped by a short base telescopic section. The units ordered by Tip feature two telescoping sections for a maximum reach of 10.8 metres and a maximum capacity of just under three tonnes. The crane has an all-up weight of 2,610kg, is 2.48 metres wide and 2.33 metre high. The Tip cranes are mounted on a three axle MAN truck and equipped with a heavy duty grab with rotator, making it ideal for delivering building materials. The standard equipment also includes the high level control station, the Atlas Crane Management ACM control system and central lubrication.
