Sinoboom Europe adds to sales cover

Sinoboom Europe’s vice president business development Erik Geene is to set up a new business - EG Equipment – to sell Sinoboom aerial work platforms across nine smaller European markets - Luxembourg, Belgium, Greece, Austria, Switzerland, Israel, Iceland, Norway and Finland. In his new role he will continue to report into Sinoboom Europe, while operating as a sort of freelance sales and support operation for the manufacturer.
The move comes two and half years after https://vertikal.net/en/news/story/35627/erik-geene-joins-new-sinoboom-team(he joined Sinoboom Europe from Sinoboom distributor Liftstore.

Speaking of the new arrangement he said: “Three years ago Susan Xu and Tim Whiteman asked me to develop the distribution network for the larger regions and key accounts across Europe. That structure is now in place, and I am proud to pass this to Sinoboom Europe’s general manager José Peña. I want to thank Sinoboom for giving me the opportunity to turn my full attention now towards the smaller regions within Europe which will allow me to build up the support and sales networks they need."

Peña added: “Erik’s many years of experience in the industry, and six years selling Sinoboom products, make him the ideal person to lead this push for excellence across Europe.”
