Bryn Thomas moves to Tadano

UK rental company Bryn Thomas Cranes has taken delivery of a new 60 tonne Tadano ATF 60G-3.

The new three axle crane features a 48 metre main boom plus a 7.4 metre extension and can handle 6.3 tonnes at up to 14 metres radius. It is also equipped with Tadano's variable/asymmetric outrigger set up and monitoring system, tyre pressure monitoring and winch cameras. Power comes from a Mercedes Stage V Diesel.

This is only the second Tadano crane added to the Bryn Thomas fleet, with most of the cranes added in the past four years or so coming from Liebherr and more recently Grove.

Managing director Dylan Thomas said: “The machine has been placed in our Northeast operational area and will form part of the depots core fleet. Hopefully she will find her feet amongst the Liebherr 55 and 60 tonne range and maybe we will see some other Tadanos."
