New business development VP for MEC

US aerial lift manufacturer MEC has appointed Paul Waller as vice president of business
development.
In his new role he will be responsible for expanding strategic partnerships and looking for new growth opportunities.

Waller joins MEC after two years at JCB as access sales manager North America He began his career in the late 1990s with Wacker - now Wacker Neuson - leaving after 11 years to join Cat dealer Fabick as sales manager. In 2008 he moved to Genie, initially as a regional manager for Cat Rental stores in the Mid-West, Florida and New Jersey. In 2011 he was promoted to vice president of sales for the central North America. He left Genie in 2019, spending a year with Skyjack covering the Western region, and eight months with Sinoboom as sales director for North America leaving for JCB in early 2021.

President David White said: “Through his vast industry experience, Paul brings a strong foundation for continued partnership with MEC customers as well as developing new relationships. We are excited to have him focus that same strength, knowledge, and customer focus to the MEC sales team. He understands the value and innovation MEC business brings to our customers and the industry overall.”

Waller who will be manning the MEC stand at Conexpo next week, added: “I am very excited to join the team at MEC and help continue the company’s amazing growth. We are focused on growing MEC’s reputation for Innovation, Safety and Efficiency in the industry.”
