New CEO for Mateco

German international rental company has appointed Alexander Bradfisch as chief executive of the German business, based in Stuttgart/Leonberg.

He replaces Armin Rappen who leaves the company after 15 years in the post to seek an new challenge.

Bradfisch joins the company from wholesale building materials supplier Dormakaba where he has been project manager for access solutions in the German speaking world for the past three years. He began his management career in 2001 as a controller with automotive supplier Mahle, moving after five years to a sales management role with building materials supplier Geze. He spent almost six years with the Leonberg based company, the final year or so as managing director of its service business. In 2012 he switched to a new business sector, joining Bosch as manager of its safety systems division, after five year with the company he left to join Swiss security device suppler Glutz where he was appointed chief executive, moving to Dormakaba in 2020.
