New CEO for Snorkel
Snorkel and Xtreme Manufacturing chief executive Matthew Elvin has stepped down from his role and left the company. He hands over to Cory Rosencranse who was previously chief operating officer of Ahern Rentals.
Rosencranse joined Ahern in 2016 as vice president of operations and was promoted to chief development officer in 2019 and then chief operating officer. He started his management career in 2012 as general manager of M&N Field Services, leaving for Ahern four years later. We understand that he was closely involved in the
sale of Ahern Rentals to United at the end of last year, and in his previous role has worked closely with owner Don Ahern.

We understand that following his appointment the company will restructure its senior management team with the global organisation being split into three, with
Owner Don Ahern said: "I am excited for the future of Xtreme Manufacturing and Snorkel, and I intend to work closely with this new and very talented management group to expand the manufacturing vision for both companies."
Outgoing chief executive Matt Elvin joined Snorkel in 2010 as president of Australia & New Zealand and was
promoted to chief executive in 2015. He was previously general manager of Clark Equipment Australia and managing director of Dynapac in Australia.

Speaking of his departure he said: “After 13 years with the business, and having worked an extensive notice period, the time has come for a new chapter. I am very proud of what the team has accomplished, particularly in the past eight years where we have re-energised Snorkel globally, established Xtreme Manufacturing as a respected heavy telehandler supplier in North America and built a global distribution network.”
