Three people were injured when a truck collided with the basket of a truck mounted platform working in a tunnel - or more accurately a covered section of the S8 road - in Warsaw, Poland in the very early hours of Friday morning/overnight Thursday.
The truck mount was being used by a road service team to clean the sound suppression panels that create the tunnel effect. Three people were injured when, according to local police, the truck strayed from the open lane of the highway into the closed-off emergency lane and struck the platform.
We do not know how serious the injuries are, but the fact that those in the platform are still alive is a miracle in itself - hopefully the injuries are not life changing.
