Grove GMK6300L-1 for MSG

German rental company MSG Krandienst has taken delivery of a 300 tonne Grove GMK6300L-1 All Terrain crane, it’s 40th Grove crane since 2003.

The six axle GMK 6300L-1 is equipped with a seven section 80 metre main boom and can handle 14 tonnes on the full boom at a 14 metre radius. It can also be rigged with 37 metres of luffing extensions, for a maximum tip height of 120 metres.

All 40 cranes have been purchased through Grove dealer KranAgentur Werner.

MSG Krandienst was established in 1994 and entered the crane rental market in 2002. Today it employs around 120 staff working from three locations, the headquarters in Kehl, near Baden Baden, plus a branch near Freiburg both of which are in Germany’s South West. It also has a satellite depot in Strasbourg, France, allowing the company to cover the whole border area in the Black Forest and Alsace regions. The crane fleet includes All Terrains from 40 to 800 tonnes, four and six axle mobile self-erecting tower cranes and knuckle boom loader cranes.
