UK crane rental company Forsyth of Denny has taken delivery of a 300 tonne Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3 All Terrain.
The six axle crane features an eight section, 90 metre main boom topped by an 11.5 to 20 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, to which two seven metre inserts can be added between the boom nose and swingaway for a tip height of 121 metres.
Alternatively, a 43 metre lattice extension takes the tip height to 126 metres. Features include ECOmode, ECOdrive for cleaner more efficient drive, as well as VarioBase Plus outrigger set up and monitoring, VarioBallast variable counterweight, Auto-Ballas, and the wind speed related load charts.
Director, Mark Syme said: “We want to ensure we have the latest technology available for our customers and that is why we have invested in the new LTM 1300-6.3. The six-axle crane with 90 metre main boom will be the perfect addition to our fleet, especially on wind turbine service and repair applications.”
Established in 1995, the company is based in Denny, Scotland. Forsyth of Denny has two further depots in Scotland - Irvine and Earlston - as well as a location in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland. The company currently runs a fleet of All Terrain and crawler cranes as well as a transport and haulage vehicles, it is also the UK distributor of Eng tower cranes.
