Maxim Dutch auction oversubscribed

Maxim Crane Works has announced the results of its Dutch auction to buy back up to 25 percent of its outstanding shares.

The company was offered 3,516, 936 shares and 384,083 share equivalents at prices between $48.75 and $54.00.

The company will accept all shares tendered at less than $54 and will take 42 percent of the shares tendered at $54 on a pro-rata basis. The balance will be returned.
