Sunnergren heads off

Lars Erik "Lasse" Sunnergren a well known face in the Scandinavian access world for more than 25 years, has retired.

Sunnergren joined Vectur Aluminiumställningar, the Swedish sales subsidiary of UpRight, in 1982 and helped set up a warehouse operation in Gothenburg selling both aerial lifts and scaffold products, largely to rental companies. Please register to see all images

The company was renamed Instant Sweden in 1990.

In 1993 UpRight sold its Swedish operation to its independently owed Zip-Up scaffold dealer Zip-Up Svenska of Stockholm and Sunnnergren moved with it, effectively becoming the Gothenburg branch manager.

On his last day at work, the Zip-Up Svenska team arranged a retirement party at its Gothenburg location with a high table set up on the platform of an SL30 Speed Level.
