Palfinger UK is to open a new service centre in London near Junction 1A of the M25 ring road.
It’s location will enable the company to cover most businesses in central and greater London. Furthermore, and is within relatively easy reach all four London regional airports and the larger South Eastern seaports.
The 1,216 square metre building has been acquired on a long term lease, and when fitted out, will feature eight dedicated workshop bays with an overhead crane, secure yard space, crane testing facilities, modern offices and meeting rooms and ample parking. The new facility will work in tandem with the company’s workshops in Devizes, Bradford, Falkirk and Leicester.
Over the next few months, Palfinger will recruit staff, organise signage for the external façade and fit out the building’s interior. Palfinger UK distributes Palfinger loader cranes and Epsilon recycling and forestry cranes across the country. The company is part of the TH White group and rebranded as Palfinger UK, after acquiring the Palfinger crane dealer for Scotland Outreach Truck in 2018. The company provides a wide range of services,, including in-house crane mounting, custom bodybuilding, and full after sales service.
