Chinese manufacturer LGMG is planning to unveil a range of new products at Bauma China in late November.
The new products will include new Series -2 electric and hybrid boom lifts with working heights of up to 40 metres, which will feature what LGMG says is a new innovative boom design. Looking at the first unit, the electric powered 92ft articulated/telescopic T28 JE-2 with a 29.8 metre working height, the key change appears to be a new heavy duty single section dual arm riser, in place of the previous parallelogram type rising pivot point.
The new models will also incorporate advances in the company’s electrical and hydraulic systems, for improved reliability and efficiency. All electric drive machines will be converted to permanent magnet synchronous motors, which combine the motor and controller in a single unit, while being maintenance free as well as more energy efficient.
The company will also launch new telehandler models, including all electric models with lithium battery packs, with rapid switch over for round the clock working potential.
