French rental company Joly Location has taken delivery of a 52 metre Palazzani Ragno XTJ 52+ with a unique livery design.
The XTJ 52+ provides an outreach of 19.5 metres with 120kg in the platform or 14.5 metres with its 400kg maximum platform capacity. Features include zero tail swing, numerous outrigger positions and the company’s ‘Area Manager’ system which automatically adjusts the working envelope depending on the outrigger set up and weight in the platform.
Managing director Lionel Joly said: “The reason we chose this Palazzani platform, besides its impressive working height that complements our spider lift fleet, is its ease of use and the speed with which it can be positioned, even in complex environments.”
The platform features a unique design created by Dijon based artist Pegaz, known for his futuristic style. The design includes shark teeth painted on the boom, along with superhero armour, electrical circuits, and cannons.
Joly added: “It was a two to three week project, punctuated by moments of pure inspiration, resulting in a unique, signed, and original design that sparks curiosity and smiles everywhere it goes.”
Founded in 1973, Joly Location is based in Couternon near Dijon and runs a fleet of mostly Ruthmann truck mounted lifts up to 90 metres and Teupen spider lifts with working heights ranging from 13 up to 42 metres - now topped by the new Palazzani.
