Irish rental company M.R. Concrete has taken delivery of a 300 tonne Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3 All Terrain crane.
The six axle, single engine crane includes the company’s latest features including Ecomode, Ecodrive, VarioBallast and updated VarioBase Plus outrigger set up system which features a wider more variable rear outrigger spread - up to 9.4 metres - as well as Auto-Ballast. Maximum counterweight is 88 tonnes and designed to provide the maximum number of transport configurations. It can also operate with eight tonnes less ballast than the LTM1300-6.2 without compromising capacities.
The new 300 tonner
The crane will be added to M.R Concrete's rental fleet, which makes up 50 percent of its overall fleet, with the remaining units used in civil engineering.
Based in Ballyannon, in the North of Ireland, with depots in Dublin, Donegal and Belfast, the company operates predominately within the reinforced concrete substructure and superstructure work as well as equipment rental. It runs a fleet of all Liebherr units including six 60 tonners, a 100 tonner, a 150 tonner, a 230 tonner, a 300 tonner, and a 100 tonne crawler. It also has a fleet of tower cranes, also primarily consisting of Liebherr models, along with cranes from Saez and Potain.
