Double Grove delivery for Kranlogistik

German rental company Kranlogistik Sachsen has taken delivery of two Grove All Terrain cranes, a 60 tonne GMK3060L-1 and an 80 tonne GMK4080L to be stationed at two different branches.

The three axle GMK3060L-1 – which will be based at its Chemnitz branch - features a seven section 48 metre main boom plus an 8.7 to 15 metre bi-fold swingaway extension for a maximum on board tip height of 65 metres. The crane can also travel with up to 7.5 tonnes of counterweight within 12 tonne axle loadings.
The new units side by side

The four axle GMK4080L – which will be stationed at its Kesselsdorf facility near Dresden - has a 60 metre, seven section main boom with an optional 8.7 to 15 metre bi-fold swingaway extension with up to 40 degrees of offset and manual or hydraulic luffing, for a maximum tip height of 78 metres. It can carry up to 13.3 tonnes of its 19.1 tonne counterweight within 12 tonnes axle limits or achieve 10 tonnes axle loads with 5.2 tonnes of counterweight.

Established in 2002, Kranlogistik Sachsen is part of the MaxiKraft group which operates a fleet of cranes up to 1,000 tonnes from 23 locations across seven German states including Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia, Brandenburg, Berlin, Lower Saxony and Bavaria.
