21 years of Cranes Etc

UK based scale model review website Cranes Etc is celebrating its 21st anniversary. Since its launch in 2004, the website has published more than 1,600 scale model reviews covering the construction, heavy haulage, mining and related sectors.

In its first two decades, Cranes Etc has attended many of the major industry events including Bauma in Germany, ConExpo in the USA, Intermat in France, and Vertikal Days in the UK, along with shows in the Netherlands, China, and India. The platform has also contributed regular articles to numerous publications, including a 17 year relationship with Cranes & Access magazine.

When launched the website featured a text heavy design with small images to accommodate slow connection speeds. Since then, it has evolved alongside the scale model industry, which has seen significant changes in manufacturing quality and presentation standards.
