10 big ones for Hire Safe

UK based rental company Hire Safe Solutions has purchased the first 10 Sinoboom 154ft AB46RJ Rough Terrain articulated boom lifts to arrive in the UK or Ireland. The deal, worth more than €2 million was negotiated and ordered through Sinoboom distributor Lolex.

The new AB46RJ has a maximum working height of 48.6 metres, a maximum outreach of 25.5 metres with the unrestricted platform capacity of 275kg or just under 24 metres outreach with the maximum platform capacity of 455kg. Both at an up & over reach of around 19 metres, thanks to the three section telescopic riser and three section top boom, topped by articulating jib that also offers up to 150 degrees of rotation. Four wheel drive and steer are standard.

Sinoboom introduced the AB46 in 2019, with the first five units or so delivered locally. In the past year or so the manufacturer shipped its first models overseas with units going to Singapore, India, Australia and Russia. Now CE certified with a Stage V power unit, First 153ft Sinoboom for Europe (the first European unit was sold) late last year to German company Hӓssler Lift.
The first of the 10 units was handed over by Julie Houston Smyth of Lolex at Sinoboom UK’s new facility in Derby.

Lolex managing director Julie Houston Smyth added: “We are delighted to have agreed this fantastic order from Hire Safe Solutions. These big booms have a great specification and with the technical support we provide, we expect them to perform extremely well for Gerard and his team.”
Hire Safe Solutions was established in 2013 by Gerard & Rebecca Jennings, they now run a fleet of almost 2,000 units, with a strong focus on larger boom and scissor lifts. Last year the company teamed up with Edwin van der Laar to set up a new international wholesale rental business - EMEA Access.
