APS appoints Andy Bray

UK based Access Platform Sales (APS) has confirmed the appointment of Andy Bray as managing director, taking over from Steve Couling.

Bray has been working with the company on an informal basis for several months but has now been officially appointed. He has worked in the access industry for more than 18 years, most recently with Versalift where he was managing director until leaving the company this time last year.

Andy Bray started his career in a production role with Greenbrook Automations in 1994, gaining his commercial experience with Techman Engineering between 2006 and 2007. His first taste of the access industry came when he joined spider lift specialist and Teupen distributor Ranger Equipment in 2007 as commercial director, becoming managing director of its Spiderlift division two years later. He left the business at the start of 2011 to join Versalift as a sales/major account manager, but after four years in that role he moved to AFI where he was appointed group business development manager. In early 2015 he was lured back to Versalift as sales director and was promoted to general manager in late 2017 and then managing director.

Founded in 1987, by Jim Daintith APS is based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire and distributes a wide range of access equipment throughout the UK.
