The crane division of German aerial lift and telehandler rental company Gerken has added Hoeflon spider cranes to its relatively new fleet and business.
The new orders focus on two electric drive cranes from the Hoeflon range, the three tonne C6e and 4.7 tonne C10e both of which are all electric and have been specified with glass handling attachments.
The Hoeflon C10e

It can handle its three tonne maximum capacity at 2.05 metres radius and 211kg at its maximum radius of 14.4 metres. When stowed the compact crane has an overall width of 700mm, is just 2.98 metres long and has an overall of 1.8 metres.
The C10e offers a maximum tip height of 22 metres and can handle 209kg at its maximum radius of 19 metres. Overall dimensions are 3.93 metres in length, 800mm wide and 1.97 metres in height.
Both cranes feature Hoeflon's variable position outrigger system with hydraulically extending removable counterweight and come equipped with hoists, while the company has also taken Hoeflon’s Multitool attachment with claw for clamping and moving beams and pipes, forks for lifting and placing pallets and the Multivac for manipulating glass panels.
