The good Samaritan

The Samaritans of Reigate, Surrey, UK, had an embarrassing problem when they were unable to find someone to remove a five metre long banner spanning Tunnel Road off the high street some six metres up. The banner had been in place way longer than originally intended and had become an eyesore.

Panthers CTE Z20E comes to the rescue of The Samaritans

Kevin Lewis of The Samaritans said: “We had trouble in finding someone to help us take down our banner but Panther offered a quick and easy answer when I approached them. I would just like to give a big thank you to them for arranging a machine and operative to come and help us. It was starting to turn into a bit of an embarrassing situation for us as the banner had been up for a fair bit longer than we had intended”.

The lift was selected for it low GVW, compact dimensions and its ability to reach both sides of the road without repositioning. The job was completed in minutes avoiding any traffic upsets.
