Thieving lift

Thieves broke into the Louvre Museum in Paris yesterday, in plain sight and got away with some of France's crown jewels, valued at around €88 million.

How? They used a Böcker Aglio truck mounted furniture lift, which we understand they stole for the purpose, they drove up to the building got out of the truck with their Hi Viz vests and elevated the lift to the first floor balcony, and then rode to platform up with their cutting gear.

The entire raid only lasted just seven minutes - we originally assumed that they scaled the ladder mast, but in fact they rode the host platform up and back down again.
They all got away, although they did drop a diamond and emerald crown that was made for the Empress Eugénie, as they fled on motorbikes.

What, no risk assessment, no fall protection and using equipment inappropriately
certainly one for the Death Wish spot! Luckily it's believed the operators escaped without any injury (and also with France's Crown Jewels)
Joking aside I hope they catch the criminals.
