Ecobat rebrand
UK based battery supplier and recycling company Ecobat Battery has been rebranded as Veloris, following
its sale to private equity firm Splitstone Capital. The rebranded company will continue its activities across Europe, while no longer being a part of the North American Ecobat group.
Veloris chief executive Russell McBurnie said: “We are now free to pursue our own priorities, and by regaining our independence, we are reenergised and able to use the skill, knowledge and experience embedded in the business, to drive growth and fulfil our potential.”
Established in 1998 and based in Shrewsbury, western England, Veloris, to use its new name, will continue to supply battery products, services and energy storage solutions to a range of market sectors.
