Two more aquisitions for Kiloutou

French international rental group Kiloutou has acquired two more aerial lift rental companies: Clavería Servicios in Spain and DEA in Italy.

Established 40 years ago Clavería Servicios operates from seven locations, including its base in Binéfar plus depots in Monzón, Barbastro, Torrefarrera, Fraga, Huesca and Sabiñánigo with 110 employees and 3,000 machines in its fleet, including aerial work platforms, telehandlers and loader cranes, covering a large area in North Central Spain between Zaragoza to the south, Pamplona to the west and Andora in the north.

This latest deal comes hard on the heels of the Mavyal acquisition in December and takes the Kiloutou Spain network to 75 locations with 640 employees and more than €100 million in annual revenues.

In Italy, DEA was established in 2007 and is basically an aerial lift specialist, with a fleet of 500 units, along with some earthmoving equipment, operating from two locations in suburban Bologna with 13 employees. They will be rebranded as Kiloutou Italia, taking its branch network to 27 locations with 300 employees. It comes six months after the company acquired F.I.M.

Chief executive Olivier Colleau said: “We have built our growth model around two pillars: organic development and external growth. Each acquisition acts as a strategic move to increase the density of our geographical coverage and local technical expertise. These latest acquisitions will allow us to grow confidently in Spain and Italy. With nearly 70 acquisitions carried out in 10 years, we are maintaining a sustained pace in service of sustainable growth, in order to achieve our objective of €2 billion of revenues by 2030.ˮ
Kiloutou operates across seven European countries: Germany, Denmark, Spain, France, Italy, Poland, and Portugal, with a network of 600 branches and more than 7,000 employees.
