Franna pick & carry cranes has appointed Vianney Largillier as regional sales manager for North America.
He will focus on working directly with contractors and rental companies while also supporting distributors and increasing awareness of Franna articulated pick & carry cranes and their potential applications.
Vianney Largillier
Largillier joins the company from Maeda Cranes USA, where he has been a sales rep for the past year and a half, based in Houston, Texas.
Born in France he travelled to Australia in 2008 in order to learn English while working on construction sites to cover his costs. He returned to France in 2010 and continued to work on construction sites in Marseille, joining Bouygues in 2014 as a forklift operator. At the end of 2017 he made the move into sales, joining Klaas Al Road- now Axeo All Road. This introduced him to spider lifts and Maeda spider cranes.
In 2023, he decided to seek his fortune in the USA, moving to York, Pennsylvania, where he joined Tracked Lifts, the Platform Basket distributor for the USA. As winter arrived, he moved to Naples, Florida and spent a year with RRCA Roofing Reconstruction of America, before joining Maeda at the end of 2024.
Largillier on the Maeda stand at Conexpo 2026 Franna sales director Peters Koschel said: “Franna has established a foundation in North America, and our focus is now on expanding market adoption and supporting customers in the field. Vianney brings a practical, solution focused approach and a strong understanding of how equipment is used on site. His experience working closely with rental companies and end users will be important as we continue to grow the business in this region.”
Vianney Largillier added: “My approach is simple – understand the job, be on site with the customer and find the right solution. That might mean demonstrating the machine, supporting training or working through the application in detail. There is a real opportunity to show how pick & carry cranes can improve safety and efficiency on North American jobsites, and I’m looking forward to working closely with customers to build that understanding.”
Franna entered the North American market in late 2023 with the launch of the AT24 US and has since added the FR19 US and AT44 US. Its parts and service support comes from the Terex Louisville facility.
