Armorum MD to step down

Mark Evans, managing director of Armorum, the Irish distributor for Liebherr tower cranes and engines, is stepping down after almost three years in the role. He joined the company at the end of 2023 after 11 years with Kobelco. See: Evans joins Armorum

Evans has spent his entire career in cranes, having started out in 1995 with Demag, which became Terex, moving to Wolffkran Arabia in 2007, and then rejoining Terex Demag in 2010, leaving after three years for Kobelco.

He says that he plans to take a short break before moving on to his next challenge, whatever that might be.
Adding: “As my time here draws to a close, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for their business during this time, and to thank everyone at Armorum for their support and dedication, and I can assure all of our existing and future valued customers, that, with the wealth of knowledge and operational skills available, you are in safe hands.”

Given the changes at Kobelco, is it possible that this might just be his next destination? We will have to wait to find out.
