New president for Bobcat and Bobcat Europe

Scott R Nelson has been appointed as president of Bobcat worldwide reporting to David Rowles, chief executive officer of Doosan Infracore International, the company that holds the three businesses acquired from Ingersoll Rand - Bobcat, Doosan Infracore Portable Power (Ingersoll Rand Utility Equipment) and DII Attachments (Ingersoll Rand Attachments).

Nelson was formerly president of Bobcat Europe, and replaces Richard Pedtke, who has decided to retire after serving Ingersoll Rand and its acquired companies for 37 years.

Neil Woodfin takes over from Nelson as president, of the Bobcat Europe, Africa and Middle East region, based in Waterloo Belgium, he was previously vice president, sales and marketing at Bobcat Europe.

European, Africa and Middle East reorganisation

The sales, marketing and Aftermarket departments of Bobcat Europe are being restructured with a new sales and service department responsible for the complete product life cycle, from point of sale through to the eventual trade-in of the product. Norbert Donaberger will head up this department as vice president sales and service, reporting directly to Woodfin. The company has also announced the promotion of Iris Truyen to the post of service director.

Chris Ringlstetter has been appointed vice president, marketing, heading up a new department that will champion new product and service concepts and will be responsible for product life cycle management, product profit and loss, and customer communications for the telescopic handler, loader, mini-excavator, compact attachment and parts businesses.

Giuliano Parodi becomes business director - telescopic handlers, Jurgen Gremez business director - attachments and Muriel Lafont business director - parts.

Lee Harrison will head up a new European strategic development and merger and acquisition planning department, which will work closely with the Doosan Infracore International headquarters to maximise Doosan’s synergy opportunities and develop a merger and acquisition plan for Bobcat Europe.

Announcing the changes Woodfin said: “It is important that we put in place an organisation that is capable of sustaining our impressive growth and is correctly aligned to develop and execute our strategic plan.

“In line with Bobcat’s core value of people development, we are delighted that we have been able to accommodate these senior management organisation changes utilising the strong talent base Bobcat has established here in Europe.”
