Big Battery pack

An aircraft manufacturer commissioned Manlift Engineering to design a special heavy duty battery pack for the Skyjack EX (EX = for hazardous environments) scissor lifts that the company was customising for them.

The brief was to develop a battery pack that would provide true multi shift operation for aircraft painting duties.

MLE’s solution was a High Capacity 420Amp-Hour battery option that almost doubles the life of the current machine together with a 40amp charger to provide the powerful quick-charge capacity.

The extra battery box creates a step at the rear of the machine

The extra batteries are located at the rear of machine where they can be easily reached for maintenance. The company is now offering them as a standard item on the following Skyjack models:
