Instant appoints new managers

Instant UpRight, the aluminium tower system manufacturer has made three new appointments to its senior management team in order to help its objective to double its revenues by 2012.

Eamonn Griffith has been appointed as business development director
responsible for building the company’s non-standard products and services portfolio including boiler and power generation access systems, aviation access and bespoke access solutions which includes the company’s Spandeck walkway and bridging systems.

The global role will also include establishing and managing the company’s distribution network in the USA, Asia and the Middle East. Griffith’s main area of expertise has been in establishing and managing distributionnetworks within the manufacturing, construction and electronics industries.

Mark Edwards has joined the company as commercial director
responsible for finance, IT and human resources. Based at Instant’s Dublin HQ, he will play a major part in the company’s growth plans including working with customers to expand their respective businesses through flexible finance packages.

Key areas of focus include the implementation of new financial measures and improved business practices. Edwards is a chartered accountant with experience in the construction and print sectors.

Scot Ballantine takes on the new role of supply chain manager based in Dublin. The position includes responsibility for Customer Services and the complete supply chain function, directing the business towards providing higher quality products and service levels.

His initial focus will concentrate on supplier development and quality
systems. The role will also play a key part in expediting new product to market.

Ballantine is a qualified engineer with extensive experience in lean manufacturing techniques and quality systems. He is originally from Chicago and has lived and worked in Ireland for ten years.
