Faresin unveils new options

Italian telehandler manufacturer Faresin has launched some upgrades to its seven to 17 metre machine range.

The major upgrade is the use of a Iveco turbo intercooler engine with Tier III approval to comply with the latest European emissions directive. Installed to the side of the machine it features a new direct drive configuration for the front engine cooling fan allowing the Load Sensing System to be available as an optional extra.

This system allows for a 120 litre oil capacity (standard 94 litres) and an increased 270 bar (standard 250 bar) pressure. The LS system includes a variable capacity piston pump, a proportional valve bank and two different types of proportional joysticks with either thumbwheel control for boom extension and a push button for the head ancillary equipment or two thumbwheels can be specified.

According to Faresin: "The proportional distributor and piston pump allows several simultaneous functions by choking the flow of hydraulic oil as the capacity changes and adapting it automatically to the hydraulic equipment requirements activated even at low engine rpm."
