Lean on me! Fortunately the second telehandler saved the first from falling over.

The road between Queen's Street and the Waringstown road had to be closed shortly after 8.30am as the two machines leaned precariously to one side.

It is believed that as the boom of one machine was being extended it toppled over into another. Had the second unit not been there the telehandler would have toppled over.

The road remains closed as officials and various agencies work out the best way to right the machines.

A crane has since been brought in to stop the two from falling over

The Fire Service was in attendance for about an hour and after some scratching of heads they left without any resolution. A crane has been put into place in order to stop the teles falling onto the road.

A witness said he was parked in the forecourt of the Lurgan Hire waiting for his work to open when he saw the handler topple toward his car. He said: "I don't know exactly what happened but it looks like someone had to make a hasty exit from one of the machines."
