Pat Schmetzer returns to Trico

Trico, the Millville, New Jersey based aerial lift rental company has made three new senior management appointments.

Pat Schmetzer rejoins the company as vice president of operations, responsible for daily operations and delivery of all parts and services at the company’s six branches in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, and Virginia.

Schmetzer made his mark in the aerial lift industry while working at UpRIght as its training manager he served in a similar role at Trico as its sales and training manager in Ohio. He moves back to Trico from Bobcat Enterprises where he was general sales manager.

Andrew Volponi, moves from his position as vice president of operations and services to vice president of logistics, responsible for the company’s expanded equipment life extension program at its fleet maintenance center in Millville and all central dispatching services involving rentals, field service and transportation.

Steve Phillips has been promoted to vice president for safety, responsible for Trico Lift’s complete risk identification and prevention efforts. Trico, which runs a fleet of over 3,000 aerial lifts, recently completed 12 consecutive months with no lost time or recordable incidents.
