Blue Line calls it a day

Blue Line Access the UK dealer for Bronto Skylift, the Finish based truck mounted aerial work platform manufacturer, has filed for administration following a difficult trading period coupled with difficulties with the Sterling/Euro exchange rate.

Blue Line, which was owned by industry veteran, Andy Northwood, was also the dealer for Ascendant the UK based truck mounted aerial lift manufacturer. Northwood told Vertikal.Net that at this stage he was unable to comment on the situation for legal reasons.

Bronto has said that it will be contacting its customers in the UK and that in the meantime it is set up and can handle any parts, service or sales requests on a direct basis while the situation with Blue Line is worked out.

It also confirmed that irrespective of what happens with Blue Line it will be expanding its UK and Ireland presence in terms of sales and support.

Ascendant which has or had some ownership ties with Blue Line is not affected by administration.
