Space conscious crane company

A new crane company has been established in the UK, targeting developers seeking to maximise efficiency of construction and space management whilst minimising waste.

Managing director of Castleford, Yorkshire based Noble Homes, Chris Noble, has founded Cranes 4 Work to supply for sale or rent a range of pedestrian-operated cranes which are ideal for development sites of restricted space.

Noble said: “ these cranes are able to manoeuvre into and within exceptionally tight areas, they can be erected, fully tested and ready to work within the day. Suitable for up to eight storeys, they also provide greater operational precision by placing all materials exactly where they are needed, in contrast to fork lifts merely depositing materials on loading bays. The core product is likely to be the latest self erecting tower crane products.”

“Operational space is often at a premium on today’s construction sites, with less land available in which to handle materials,” adds Noble. “Planners also stipulate that adjoining streets are not used for construction traffic, so in these conditions the space saving qualities and manoeuvrability of our self-erecting cranes are invaluable.”
