“As part of the third largest construction equipment manufacturer in the world, we profit enormously from the Terex Corporation’s global presence," said Marco Gentilini. “In addition to Bendini’s crane production has increased consistently since it became a part of Terex.”

Bendini SpA company was founded in 1968. The product range now includes lifting capacities from 30 to 60 tonnes including seven wheeled and three crawler crane models. “In the past, Bendini was an Italian crane manufacturer that concentrated mainly on the domestic market. Today, we export the majority of our products particularly Europe, Africa, and the Middle East belong our main markets," said Fabio Fenzi, Terex Italia sales director.

The Terex Bendini RC 30

The new Bendini RC 30 will replace the A300 that was originally introduced in 1985 (with a lifting capacity of 25 tonnes) as the 25 Beta which developed into the A300 (with a lifting capacity of 30 tons) in 1997. The new 30-ton machine provides a three-stage telescopic boom with a maximum hook height of 27.4 meters. The boom can be telescoped with a partial load. The basic version weighs 24 tonnes with a compact width of only 2.55 metres and is powered by a Tier 2 compliant turbocharged engine with 104 kW and all-wheel drive and six forward and reverse gear. Two or four wheel steer and maximum speed between 34 and 36 km per hour depending on the wheel size.

Production of the Bendini RC 60 has been running since the end of 2007. The 60 tonne capacity machine has a retracted boom length of 10.3 meters and it can be extended up to 40 meters, with a maximum hook height of 42.5 meters. The total weight of the machine is 41.4 tonnes with the outriggers extended simultaneously, operated either from the cab or from the ground. The machine features a Tier 3, six-cylinder engine with 164 kW. Maximum speed is 29 or 31 km per hour depending on the tire size.

The Bendini TCC 60

The TCC 60 crawler crane replaces the previous A600C and claims to offer improved operational capability on uneven ground - the machine can pick up loads on slopes ranging between 1 and 4 degrees.
The 32.4 metre long, four-stage telescopic boom allows T1 to be telescoped independently and T2 and T3 proportionally even when with a partial load. Moving with a lateral load is also possible, which makes the crane flexible reducing work times considerably. Powered by a 164kW six cylinder engine the machine has a maximum speed of 3 km/h.
