A.M.P joins Panther

A.M.P Access the Lavendon regional group member in the South West of England, has officially come under the Panther banner this week.

AMP adds three locations to Panther, Liskeard, Poole and Taunton, which along with the Kestrel location in Bristol which adopted the Panther logo over the summer, provides a strong market coverage in the South West.

The addition of these depots, with their fleet of over 650 lifts, takes the Panther fleet total to well over 3,500 units.

Andy Pearson, previously managing director and ex owner of A.M.P becomes managing director Panther South West commenting on the change over he said: “Since starting AMP Access in 1993, we have taken care to develop the business in line with our customers’ requirements. We will bring the benefits of Panther’s national experience to our staff, suppliers and clients alike, whilst continuing to supply the South West region with the best in local, reliable powered access.”

Panther Group managing director, Richard Miller added: “With AMP, the South West’s strongest powered access company joining Panther, the company now covers the region with a familiar and trusted operation. This year we will also be welcoming Higher Platforms, adding yet more choice to the fleet and further locations to the Panther network of branches.”
