John Ball gets a Pal

Last week John Ball, the current president of IPAF, spent a wet windy day at the Height for Hire training centre working for his Pal card operator’s licence. Needless to say he passed the required standard, in spite of his claim that he was given a tougher ride than a normal applicant.

He was keen to acquire his operators licence prior to APEX next week and says that he was surprised by how much he learnt, given that he has spent around 20 years in the powered access industry.

Francis McArdle, head of the groups training operation officiated and congratulated Ball on his passing.
