Ulstein VerftS says that its selection process was ‘intensive’ due to the fact that it was investing around €5 million.

“We have amongst others been in negotiations with crane suppliers in Spain and the United States, but Terex could offer a good contract for a crane with the capabilities we were looking for, with a satisfactory delivery time and a competitive price.” Said purchasing manager Karsten Sævik.

The new crane is due for delivery at the end of 2009.
